This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Slow Down App Games, LLC ("LaFicha," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, protects, and discloses personal information obtained from anyone who uses our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). We encourage you to read this Policy carefully to understand our practices.
By using the Services, you agree to the handling of your information in accordance with this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Video and audio data for video chatting during gameplay is exchanged between players peer-to-peer (P2P) using WebRTC technology. This data is not stored server-side by Slow Down App Games, LLC, nor is it permanently stored by the app on the device. Moreover, we do not have access to this data.
There are two general categories of information that we collect.
A. Information You Provide to Us Through Third Parties
To create an account or sign in to LaFicha, we require you to use a third-party authentication service such as Apple, Google, or Facebook. We do not offer a direct registration method with an email and password.
When you register through these services, they provide us with access to certain information from your profile. The information we receive depends on your privacy settings with that service but generally includes:
- Identifiers / Contact Information: Your name, email address, a unique account identifier, and your profile picture. This information is required for creating the account and for the application to work.
By using one of these services to register, you authorize us to collect, store, and use this information in accordance with this Policy.
B. Information We Collect Automatically
When you use our Services, we automatically collect information about your device and activity:
Device, Usage, and Play History Data: We collect information such as your IP address, device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and information about how you interact with our Services. This includes your play history, such as the games you have played and with whom you have played. The recording of play history is part of the data collected. This data helps us provide and improve our Service to you.
Tracking Technologies: We and our third-party service providers may collect data automatically using technologies such as cookies, web beacons, and other tracking software to help us analyze usage and customize your experience. 2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Personalize the Services: To create and manage your account, enable you to use the app's features, and personalize your experience.
- For Communication: To send you communications about your account, service updates, or to respond to your support requests.
- To Improve Our Services: To analyze the use of the Services to understand how users interact with them, allowing us to develop new features and improve the overall experience.
- For Security: To protect the security and integrity of our Services, our users, and our business.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
If we share data with third parties, we provide categories for those parties, such as "service providers," "affiliates," or "analytics partners". We only share as much data as necessary to provide services.
Categories of Third Parties We Share Data With:
- Authentication Providers: (e.g., Apple, Google, Facebook) to facilitate secure login and account creation.
- Service Providers: Entities that perform services on our behalf (e.g., hosting, data analysis, customer support).
- Legal Compliance and Protection: Data may be shared to comply with legal obligations, enforce our User Agreement, or protect our rights or property.
Third-Party Data Protection Confirmation: We confirm that any third party with whom LaFicha shares user data will provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy.
4. Data Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. All personal information is transmitted to our servers encrypted and stored securely to protect it from unauthorized access or alteration. We implement commercially reasonable physical, technical (including data encryption), and administrative security measures to safeguard your data. However, while we take significant steps, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Children's Privacy And Age Requirement
Our Services are intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not include children under the age of 13 in our target audience.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it.
By creating an account, you certify that you are 13 years of age or older.
6. Your Rights and Choices Over Your Data
We provide you with control over your personal information.
A. Account Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated personal information.
You can request deletion in the following ways:
- Within the App: From the initial screen, tap on the upper-left menu icon, tap on the "My Account" menu item, and press the "Delete account" button.
- Via Email: By sending a request to help@laficha.app.
- Via our Website: By signing in to your account at laficha.app, going to the "My Account" page, and clicking the "Delete my account" button.
Upon receiving your request, we will delete your personal information, though we may retain certain data if necessary to comply with legal obligations (such as payment history or fraud prevention). If you uninstall the app, you can still request data deletion via the methods listed above.
B. Revoking Consent
If you wish to revoke consent for the collection and use of your data, you may do so by initiating the Account Deletion process.
C. Opting Out of Tracking
You have the ability to opt-out of certain tracking technologies used for personalization or advertising. Please review your device settings, or the settings within the Services, to manage these preferences.
7. Subscription, Payments, and Auto-Renewal
Paid subscriptions to LaFicha are governed by our separate Subscriber Agreement. Subscriptions are managed by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android).
Auto-Renewal: All subscriptions are auto-renewed until canceled by the subscriber.
Cancellation:
- Apple Subscriptions: You can manage and cancel your subscription by going to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your Apple device.
- Google Play Subscriptions: You can cancel your subscription through Google Play’s Subscription Center, which can be accessed via the account settings page in the app.
8. California Privacy Rights (CalOPPA Notice)
In compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), we are required to inform you how we respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. Because there is no universal industry standard for DNT signals, we do not currently respond to DNT signals.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the Services or by other means.
